Scott Curto

Real Estate Consultant

Scott Curto has an extensive real estate background, falling under many different categories. He has worked on both commercial and residential ventures, including office, retail, restaurant, condominium and residential rental properties.

Scott’s primary job function has been financial analysis, asset management, and underwriting of potential projects and developments; however, he also has experience in the legal and construction aspects of development projects. He acquired commercial office experience while working at Jones Lang LaSalle in Chicago, where he supported the leasing teams with financial analysis, ensuring that their lease proposals supported the valuation strategy of the asset and their clients. While there, he created the valuation models for an 850,000 square foot, Class A office building owned by Nippon Life Insurance / Citigroup, and for a major sublease transaction for BP AMACO. These models were created in Excel and implemented, as the major clients required a fully automated model that allowed for a more customized cash flow, integrating multiple deals and resulting in one net effective rate.

Scott has also engaged in handling aspects of a new venture that provides Hospitality case goods and millwork to new and renovated hospitality developments. He provides project management to each project, including logistics, engineering, design, coordination of on-site personnel, and value engineering to achieve the best result at the lowest cost for the customer.
